Our custom-built LED array allows our heavy hexacopter to project an insane amount of LED light. Using a directional servo-control, the light can be steered from the ground and emits up to 150k lumens, similar to that of an 1,800 watt HMI light. Using fixed mounting for non-directional, ambient light, the system is capable of nearly half a million lumens. Our proprietary design utilizes airflow from the aircraft props to maximize cooling and reduce the need for heavy heatsinks. This allows the maximum amount of light output while staying under the FAA’s 55lb weight limit.
