Superior Aerial Video
The crew at NMCD has been flying together since 2012, and has been working to perfect the art of UAV cinematography ever since then. Our team combines decades of experience with a wide range of aircraft and camera systems, giving us the ability to tackle even the most demanding aerial jobs.
Top-of-the-line Equipment
The DJI Inspire 2 with a 35-mm X7 camera and interchangeable lenses has become the industry standard for small UAV filming. Our DJI M600 hexacopter, meanwhile, is one of the most capable heavy-lift platforms in production. However, we were still getting requests from some of our clients to fly camera payloads that no of-the-shelf drone could carry (at least not at the high elevations in Colorado and Northern New Mexico). Therefore, we built our custom ultra-heavy-lift hexacopter using a DJI e5000 motor/control system. This system can easily carry a RED or Alexa Mini camera and a cinema lens with extreme redundancy, even above 10,000 feet.
